Solid Maple Wood Slab Bench - Live Edge Bench

The Foundry Live Edge Bench is a solid maple slab bench with optional live edge. It is handcrafted from a solid maple, live-edge slab and 2" steel legs. With 3 size options (custom sizes upon request) it makes a perfect small entry bench, large bedroom bench, and more. If you are in the market for a live edge bench or a straight edge, wood slab bench, look no further.  The solid maple slab and 2" steel legs make this is a seriously sturdy slab bench (450+ lbs of support) that will not creak or rock.  Finished with multiple coats of hand-rubbed shellac, it's resistant to stains and water marks.  When designing a live edge bench to last a lifetime, the aging of wood and finishes must be taken into account. As shellac is naturally UV resistant and does not chip or yellow over time, this bench will age beautifully, giving your home a touch of farmhouse charm for years to come.
