Headhouse Table Special Edition: The Relic Rustic Wood Coffee Table

The Relic Special Edition, rustic wood coffee table is a different take on our traditional Headhouse Table.  It is a rustic farmhouse coffee table, which is first heavily distressed and then stained with our custom, homemade 'aged wood' stain, for a naturally aged appearance. This heavily distressed wood coffee table will add rustic charm to your living room.  It is handcrafted entirely by hand from solid Douglas fir and radiata, wood species that provide a subtle, natural contrast when stained.  A slatted lower shelf provides plenty of space for books, accessories and more.  With sturdy mortise and tenon construction and solid 2" thick legs, this is a seriously stable and solid rustic wood coffee table.  Sealed with multiple coats of hand-rubbed shellac resin, it will resist stains and coffee rings, while aging beautifully.  

The Relic Special Edition Headhouse Table is a highly-distressed table, hand-crafted and worn to evoke decades of use and wear, while maintaining the strength and utility of a piece that can only be realized through the hands of a furniture maker or carpenter. With an appearance similar to reclaimed barn wood, its imperfections are what make it beautiful and unique. With a Douglas fir top and radiata slatted shelf and aprons, the coloring and appearance will vary between the different parts of the table.
