Foundation Bench - Solid Wood Entryway Shoe Bench with Storage

The Foundation Entryway Bench is a handcrafted, solid wood shoe bench with a lower shelf for shoe storage. It is handmade in the USA, and also makes a great mudroom bench or bedroom bench. Made entirely by hand with old world methods, it brings together traditional style and modern beauty. A lower shoe storage shelf provides space for shoes and other entryway clutter. This solid wood entry bench is constructed of solid, hand-selected Douglas Fir and 2 inch wide, 1/4 inch thick steel legs, it is incredibly sturdy and will not creak or rock. Available in your choice of stain colors, it will be a match for any home. Finished with multiple coats of hand-rubbed shellac, it is resistant to stains and watermarks. When designing a piece of furniture to last a lifetime, the aging of wood and finishes must be taken into account. As shellac is naturally UV resistant and does not chip or yellow over time, this bench will age beautifully, giving your home a touch of farmhouse charm for years to come.

Requires some minor assembly - approximate assembly time: less than 10 minutes

Please note: The bench top and lower shelf are stained with the same color stain. However the color and grain will vary between the two - this is by design.
